My name is Cathy Chaplin. I was born in La Mesa, California, educated in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, and cultured in Saigon, Vietnam. Now based in Los Angeles, I document all things delicious on Gastronomy Blog which was launched in 2006. My writing and photography have appeared in numerous publications including Saveur, Los Angeles Times, Bon Appétit, and Condé Nast Traveler.
