For our next Social Hour installment, we connected with Albert Baby Cat and his owner, Christine. With 341,000+ followers on Instagram, it’s safe to say that this LA-based munchkin cat is the cream of the Insta-cat crop! 

How old is Albert and when did he begin sharing his adventures on social media?

Albert is three years old. I started his Instagram account when he was around a year old.

Does Albert have any dream brand collaborations?

A dream brand collaboration would be with Apple.

Do you use any photo editing apps to capture Albert?

I use the Instagram and VSCO photo editing tools to edit Albert’s photos.

Does Albert have any unusual habits?

Albert loves to lick humans all the time! We were actually featured on the TV show My Cat From Hell for it.

Is Albert a natural in front of the camera or does he need some direction?

Albert seems to know whenever he is being photographed, so he does his best to avoid looking at the camera — like he is being hounded by the paparazzi.

What are some of your favorite animal Instagram accounts?

We love following Shadow_Scuba, purrfectsmudge, and smoothiethecat on Instagram.

Any advice for other aspiring Instagram pet stars?

Try to capture the unique aspects of your pet’s personality you love most on camera.

What has been the biggest surprise about sharing Albert’s adventures?
